Valmar Gite
We are delighted to offer you the hospitality of our beautiful Gite in France with private pool, located in the unspoilt countryside of the Lot et Garonne, which is in the Aquitaine region of South West France. Valmar Gite is a self-catering rental property as featured in ‘French Property News’ magazine. There are two bedrooms, a double and a twin, which accommodate four guests comfortably. It is one of a number of French gites for rent in the Lot et Garonne and is about half-way between Bordeaux and Toulouse’.
Located along a quiet country lane, in three quarters of an acre of private grounds, Valmar enjoys an elevated position, allowing you, our guests, to appreciate the stunning views overlooking the Cazeneuve valley and nearby vineyards and fruit orchards.
The Terrace
Valmar Gite is a haven of peace and tranquility and yet only a five minute drive to the nearest small Bastide town of Sainte Livrade Sur Lot, which has all the facilities to cater for your daily needs, including general stores, restaurants, boulangeries, chemist, tabac and a couple of small supermarkets.
A further ten minutes takes you to the larger Provincial Town of Villeneuve Sur Lot, which, as its name suggests, straddles the river Lot and offers further facilities including restaurants, cafes, banks, large supermarkets, theatre, water and other leisure activities and lots more.

Not many Gites in France with a private pool enjoy stunning views overlooking a valley, like the ones you have as our guest here at Valmar. The 10m x 5m pool, which is equipped with sun loungers, parasols, tables and chairs basks in the sun all day long and as it is for your use only, there’s no sharing with guests of neighbouring properties. So you can use Valmar Gite as a base to explore all that the Lot et Garonne has to offer, or you can laze around the pool all day, soaking up those rays, with a good book, or perhaps a glass of your favourite tipple !
The Lot et Garonne is still quite a well kept secret, so you won’t be tripping over tourists, but to think that there is nothing to do in the Villeneuve-sur-Lot area would be a big mistake.
